Stay and learn combines the convenience of a boarding stay with the benefits of professional dog training. Your dog will live comfortably in our boarding facilities, where they will receive personalised attention and training to address specific behaviour issues. You'll receive regular photos and updates on their progress during their stay and when you pick them up, we'll provide you with a training session to ensure your dog's continued success at home. A stay and learn is the perfect way to set your dog up for a l ifetime of good behaviour and obedience.

Upon completion of the stay and learn program, you will be scheduled in for a two-hour handover with one of our trainers.

They will go through a theory component and a practical component, so you have all the information to go home and continue on with the training.

How do I maintain newly learnt behaviors?

What does an average Day look like for my dog?

Every dogs stay is different as we cater the stay to the individual dog. Dogs sessions vary dependant on what they are working on over their stay. Some sessions are quick, fast paced, more tiring sessions whereas some are longer duration based sessions. Around 4-5 sessions per day as well as fulfilment and exercise. If dogs are social they will spend time with my pack.

I s there a guarantee for training?

No. We do not provide any type of guarantee because every dog is an individual and the work that goes in post training is what makes it stick. We always recommend reading our social media reviews on Facebook and Google. This is a great way to see people’s experiences here

I ’m worried because my dog is anxious

Our team are trained to make all dogs feel as comfortable as possible in our care. If needed, we have quieter housing areas for nervous and anxious dogs. This can also include being crated in the home for extreme cases. Our goal is to take it slow with anxious dogs to build up trust and a solid relationship, so longer packages are normally recommended.

Can I visit my dog?

Unfortunately, we do not allow visits whilst the dogs are on-site training. It can really disrupt the dogs training plan if you are coming and going, and we want to keep everything as routine as possible. If you come, you may be inadvertently reinforcing behaviours we are trying to curb, therefore setting us back. Rest assured, the updates and photos will make you feel warm and fuzzy!

Where will my dog sleep/ stay?

We are not a normal kennel with 100s of dogs coming in and out. Dogs are treated like family and receive 1:1 care. Severe cases stay in our calming hut built for safety, security and comfort. Non-serious cases stay at home with us.
