Olivia
Owner/Founder
Dog Trainer
NDTF certified
Olivia has been passionate about dogs since she was a little girl, and her journey into dog training began in 2019 when she adopted an aggressive XL breed dog. This transformative experience sparked her career in the field, and in 2020, she completed her certification with the National Dog Training Federation (NDTF).
With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by large, reactive dogs, Olivia honed her skills working at Underdog Training for three years, specializing in behavior modification for XL breeds. In 2023, she took the leap to start her own business, where she continues to focus on helping dogs and their owners navigate the complexities of reactivity, fear, and aggression.
Olivia’s approach is rooted in patience, consistency, and a deep respect for each dog’s individual needs. Whether working with large, reactive breeds or other behavioral concerns, Olivia’s expertise is driven by her dedication to creating stronger, healthier relationships between dogs and their owners.
Jordan
Dog Trainer
NDTF certified
Jordan has always loved animals and grew up with dogs. Upon starting a training journey with his new dog- Bean the Kelpie, Jordan realised he wasn’t experienced enough to get the best out of her and promptly decided to enrol in the National Dog Trainers Federation qualification.
At this time, Jordan realised a passion for training as well as teaching which he brings into his work with Calming Canines.
Jordan is a valuable part of Calming Canines and you can experience Jordan’s enthusiastic and friendly approach through any of our services. “I enjoy helping people to understand and connect better with their dogs. I look forward to supporting people through their dog training journeys!”

Amelia
Dog Trainer
NDTF certified
Amelia is currently undertaking her Cert III in Dog Behaviour and Training through the National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF).
Her profound love for dogs stemmed into a passion for dog training in 2019, when she brought her first dog home. He was a challenging dog that required her to continually grow and adapt as a dog trainer.
Since then she has spent time volunteering in shelters and continuing her study and professional development.
Amelia looks forward to a long career in dog training, where she can help owners improve their relationship with their dogs through training and enrichment.

Dawn
Dog Trainer
Having had pet dogs for most of my adult life, I became involved with vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs, becoming a volunteer carer for a puppy in training. I learned a lot about dog training from this and therefore became interested in learning more. I became a volunteer instructor with the local dog club, undertaking a number of foundation training courses.
I am looking forward to providing training and support to help dogs thrive and strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners.

Cailyn
Dog Trainer
Cailyn has always had a passion and interest in animals and knew she wanted to enter an industry that worked closely with them since she was young.
She began her training journey after adopting her German Shepherd, Luna, in December 2022 and working with several trainers to build her foundations.
Cailyn then found a passion for bringing the best out of her dog and challenging her wherever possible. She is now studying an Advanced Certificate in Dog Care, Training and Psychology to further her knowledge and understanding of our canine companions and brings this into her work with owners and dogs of all kinds.
